Team Onii-chan Will Be At ToyCon 2012!!!
ToyCon is one of the most attended local conventions and for good reason. It is the biggest gathering of pop culture enthusiasts in the Philippines. Everything from toys, cosplay and even celebrity appearances can be found here. This is why we are so excited to announce that for the first time ever, Team Onii-chan Figure Display Crew will be having an anime figure display at ToyCon 2012 from June 15 to 17, 2012 at the SM Megamall Megatrade Halls 1-3. What makes this display even more special is that we will be displaying our collections with all the other toy groups in the Philippines. Our inclusion is really a humbling opportunity which we are grateful for.
For this display however, we will be doing things a bit differently and will not be opening slots for lending. We will also be keeping the list of figures under wraps for a bit of a surprise. Nevertheless, we hope that you can all visit our display at ToyCon 2012 and support us in this great event. :)

Accel World is definitely one of the most popular anime title this season. With only about 7 episodes as of date, toy manufactures have already announced and released different merchandise from the title. Kuroyukihime, the petanko leading lady of the series has garnered quite a following already and Good Smile Company plans to take advantage of this by announcing pre-orders of a Nendoroid version of her. Kyoto Animation Reveals Azusa Nakano Singing ver
Kyoto Animation recently posted a stop-motion video which features their latest figure to be released: Azusa Nakano Singing ver.
This figure has the height of 10cm which is similar to a regular Nendoroid. She’s priced at 3333 yen and scheduled for November 2012 release.
Bad news for those who want her since she’s Limited + Exclusive and can be bought only through KyoAni website. Either start contacting your proxy or pray that online shops will have her available for preorder. (>.<)

AGP Laura Bodewig Ready for Launch
The flag of Germany flies in the sky as Laura Bodewig from the mecha-musume anime “Infinite Stratos” sorties out in her Schwarzer Regen courtesy of Bandai with their Armor Girl Project [AGP] line.
Laura’s Schwarzer Regen is definitely bringing the heat with her railgun making her a formidable opponent at long ranged. Even if the opponent gets close to her, she can still deal her opponents with her beam sabers/spears generated through her hands. With the revelation of this, you can expect the others to follow suit.
Laura Bodewig in her Schwarzer Regen will be available by August of 2012 with the cost 7800 yen.

Ozine Fest 2012
As you might have heard several posts ago, I’m currently in my 3 month long term break, which means I have as much time as I want to spend at Ozine Fest, the yearly 3 day anime convention which lasted from April 13 to April 15.
Nendoroid Gakupo and Lily Spotted
Nendoroid Kamui Gakupo was spotted in a CD booklet from the album Kamuizm. Gakupo, which was seen during WonFest 2012 winter, will have 4 face plates (see picture). However, release date and price are not yet announced.
Nendoroid Lily was also spotted at anim.o.v.e’s website which was also her first appearance in the public/web. Lily’s nendoroid version will have 3 faceplates and pre-orders will start this May 2012.

An Alien Loli from Space: Review of Nendoroid Touwa Erio
Hello everyone, iLikeLolis here reporting for duty. This is my very short and first blog entry featuring Nendoroid Touwa Erio. She is my favorite character right now and maybe forever so expect reviews from me about her every figure :D Ok, here is a short background of the character. One day, she mysteriously disappeared for six months, with no memory of what happened during that time. At the same time, she began having an extreme fascination with aliens, believing herself to be an alien investigator monitoring humans. Following an incident where she broke her leg whilst trying to fly on her bike, she constantly wraps herself inside a futon.

Volunteer Your Vocaloid Figures For The VocaFusion Figure Display!!!
After our gigantic Ozine Fest 2012 figure display, you would think that we’d take a break and rest on our laurels, but with so much opportunities in front of us, we simply can’t sit around and let them pass by. So we’re very very happy to announce that Team Onii-chan Figure Display Crew will be having another figure display next month in VocaFusion at the SMX Convention Center Function Room 1 in Pasay City. The said convention will be on May 20, 2012 from 11 am to 8 pm. With the title being Vocafusion, it’s quite obvious that the event will be centered on the Vocaloid franchise. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Haganai) a successful anime’ last year, summoned Kashiwazaki Sena to be the first model of Kotobukiya figure line…This blonde beauty with boombastic melons is certainly a figure lover magnet or should I say figure oppai lover magnet… :)
Sena is very sexy in her sitting pose… Sculpted based on the cover illustration of the original 6th volume of the manga.

Shifting Schedule (Ozine Fest 2012)
As with all our other events, we shall be opening shifting posts for guarding the figure display area at Ozine Fest 2012 on April 13-15, 2012 at the SM Megatrade Halls 1 and 2. Since this is a 3 day event, there will be a total of 6 shifts with each day having a morning and an afternoon shift.
