The much-awaited (then again ALL Miku figures are anticipated anyway) latest lump-of-cuteness figure from GSC has finally been previewed courtesy of Mikatan’s Blog, Nendoroid Snow Miku: Fluffy Coat version!
In case some of you missed the info, Fluffy Coat version’s design was taken from a contest that GSC held for the production of a new Nendoroid “Snow Miku” version and the illustration above won 45% of the votes.
A preview of the basic content of the Miku package. Although the accessories included are a bit lacking as compared to the Nendoroid Snow Miku: Playtime Edition, it’s still a good set considering how Miku’s “Fluffy Coat” has an extremely cute design. Now you might wonder what the huge base is for…
Ta-dah! It’s for the light-up base thingy! Pretty ridiculous, huh? I thought so too :))
I don’t mean to antagonize the figure. The idea is cool, but the base even with a light set-up is exaggeratedly big just for a Nendoroid. Additionally, the small “snow-sculpt” transparent Miku lacks overall appeal even if the head and arms are movable (you don’t say?).
Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Fluffy Coat Ver. will be a limited and exclusive figure with a market price of ¥3810.
